MANADO, ZONAUTARA.com – It had no activity in the last few years, Ceramics Production Training Center in Pulutan Village, Remboken District is existed again. Manager of Ceramic Training Center Neki Wungkar admitted the activity of ceramic training has stopped since 2015 ago.
It has be very influential on the number of tourist of foreign and local. Because, tourists come just to see how the process of making ceramics with soul-based.
According to Neki, almost all villagers are know how to make ceramics, but only manual. But, at the training center people are trained how to make ceramics using machines.
It could be have influential on increasing the production of craftsmen and of course income sector will also go up and increase.
In addition, the results of each ceramic in Pulutan is by an order from costumer. However, there are some are sold in local market by craftsmen.
“The price of ceramics from Rp 10.000 to Rp 100.000. It depends on buyers financial,” he concluded.

Mangrove Forest in Tanaki Village Is Getting Ready To Be Tourist Destination
MANADO, ZONAUTARA.com – Various tourist attractions are known to be scattered in an areas of Siau Tagulandang Biaro (Sitaro) Regency. So, local governments is develop the existing tourism potential to be used as a tourist attraction, one of them is Mangrove Forest.
Mangrove Forest is located in Tanaki Village, South West Siau District, Sitaro Regency. Tanaki Village Government plans to develop the tourism potential of this Mangrove Forest in order to increase the economic income of local residents. That was revealed by Tanaki Village Head Frans Pongoh.
“Because the management of tourism potential has been submitted to the village government. We have plan to open Mangrove Forest as a nature tourist destination. Just waiting from the Agricultural Agency who will survey from the air,” said Pongoh to Zona Utara reporter.
According to him, they will build a bridge as access to entry into the forest, and also spots for tourists who want to take pictures.
“We will also build a stage house measuring about 2 × 3 meters at every 25 meters,” he said.
He explains, the budget plan for development of tourist destinations estimated about Rp800 million has been proposed to be included in the budget of Sitaro in 2018, through Musrembang that held some time ago.
“Our hope to the district government, such as regents, vice regents and the others competent have to support this plan. Because it needed by the community,” he said.
He asserted the concept of tourist destination development is environmentally friendly which means united with nature.
Meanwhile, Head of Sitaro Tourism Agency Eddy Salindeho said that development of tourism potential in the villages had been submitted to the village government.
“Tourism Agency will focus on promoting all potential and tourism destinations in Sitaro District,” said Salindeho.

No wonder why Panenteng never deserted every afternoon. People with different backgrounds come to enjoy the beauty of sunset at the hill.
Dys Salamate (42) is one of the many sunset hunters or known as sunset photographer.
According to him Panenteng Hills present a new treat for photography lovers. He himself has created dozens of sunset photos in this place and never geting bored.
“Because, there are many interesting photo spots that show different treats every day,” he said.
