MANADO, ZONAUTARA.com – Manado International Parachuting Championship officially begin at 10.45 am were opening ceremony and parachuting trial. Four athlete from North Sulawesi did parachuting attraction while bring their flag.
Pingkan Mandagi brought North Sulawesi flag, and would be given to North Sulawesi Governor. Eric Berthandus brought TNI flag and given to Pangdam XIII Merdeka. Third, Petra Mandagi brought Fasida flag and given to Sekjen FASI. The last one, Sandi Mangosa borught flag of Swa Buana Paksa and it would be given to Komandan Sam Ratulangi Airport.
According to Governor of North Sulawesi, Olly Dondokambey. This championship was held in order to support the tourism agenda in North Sulawesi. As is this championship make North Sulawesi become more famous.
“We will give amount bonus Rp. 150.000.000 to the winner, Rp. 75.000.000 to a second champion, and the last Rp. 50.000.000. And we will give a price Rp. 10.000.000 to every team”. Said Olly.
Hopefully, this amount bonus could motivate the participants to develop the parachuting in Indonesia especially in North Sulawesi.
