Young Man Had Find Died In Ranowangko River

MANADO, ZONAUTARA.com – A young person who sank while bathing in Tondano watershed found died on Monday (22/1/2018), at around 08:10 am, in the river of Ranowangko Village, East Tondano District. His name is Gerald Senduk (17), was found by National SAR Agency of Manado.

Jemmy Kurumbatu is a member of RAPI Minahasa said, the search was do since Sunday (21/1/2018) at around 16:00 pm by SAR team. According to information from the family, the victim along with his friends playing water in home. Then they chose to play in Tondano watershed.

“A total of 11 people immediately throw themselves into the river. But apparently, there is one of them did not appear. They immediately contacted the community to conduct a search,” said Jemmy.

Ultimately, the victim have found and be evacuated RS Sam Ratulangi Tondano Hospital. The search processing involves Basarnas Manado, Minahasa RAPI, Police, and community.

“It could happened because of the bad weather, so have to be careful while do activity in the river or sea,” said Ferry Arianto, Public Relations of Basarnas.
