The Seven Wonderful Of Talaud (Part 1)

  1. SARA’A ISLAND

If you are going to visit North Sulawesi especially in Talaud, you have to visit Sara’a island. This island is located in Lirung district, you can use speedboat from Lirung to Sara’a island which takes approximately 15 minutes with a fee about Rp.150.000. And also can be taken from Melonguane it is about 30 minutes by using speedboat Rp.250.000.

Sara’a Island in North Sulawesi is another must-see destination for tourists looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the Indonesian archipelago.

In this uninhabited island you can see island surrounded by smooth white sand and close by green grassy field. Sara’a Island also has wonderful nature view. There are many beautiful coral. Sara’a Island is suitable for take a wonderful view picture for tourist. There are many kinds of fish and other the sea creature. Sara’a Island is also suitable for diving.

  1. INTATA ISLAND

Intata island is part of Nanusa district. It is the second district that so close with Philippines after Miangas district. To go this island you have to use pioneer ship or fery ship from Melonguane twice in a week. Or can use a speedboat from Melonguane but the cost is more expensive.

This island has smooth white sand which is not inferior to Sara’a island. The good place to enjoy the charming sunrise and sunset. However, you have to managed time to go Intata island, the best time to visit this island Mei, because there would be traditional event of Kakorotan village (the island inside of Intata island), Mane’e tradition of catching fish by using coconut leaf.
