MANADO, ZONAUTARA.com – Manado city would be known as a health tourism in 2019. International Hospital Manado Medical Centre is going to build on a land about 30 hectares. It is expected to become a new trademark of North Sulawesi tourism.
Teddy Ginsel Basare as Director of International Hospital Manado Medical Centre said, this hospital fully supported by North Sulawesi Governor, Olly Dondokambey, in order to developing the tourism in North Sulawesi province.
“Increasing tourist arrivals in Manado city, should be supported by development of international standard hospital,” Said Teddy in exclusive interview by Zona Utara reporter.
This hospital will be handling Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Cardiothorax, Surgery, Dermatology, Radiology, General Surgery, Geriatrics, Gynecology, Nephrology, Urology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Physiology, Obstetrics, Endocrinology, ENT, Gastroenterology, Rehabilitation, Medicine, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, and Neurology.
Teddy said, “International Hospital Manado Medical Centre will be built in Mapanget district, Manado city, with 500 beds capacity. We are collaborating with The Johns Hopkins Hospital for adjusting the standard of providing health facilities. And according to a plan, 100 beds are special for poor people in North Sulawesi, they are free of charge”.
