An Austrian Died While Holiday in Bunaken

MANADO, ZONAUTARA.com – Gsenger Gerhard (46), from Austria, died on the way to Siloam Hospital on Tuesday (11/21/2017) at 07:24 WITA. He was take from Bunaken Island by boat.

According to Kepala Sub Bagian Hubungan Kemasyarakatan (Kasubag Humas) Polresta Manado AKP Roly Sahelangi, through his written statement, the victim died because of illness.

“On the way from Bunaken Island to Manado, suddenly the victim fainted, trying to give artificial breath, but he can not be helped,” said Sahelangi.

According to him, this information is in accordance with the information presented by two witnesses who escorted the victims, Max Holba (25), who is the Manager of Bastianos Resort and Kesar Anwar (31), who is a security in the Resort.

The body of the victim is in Silloam. The day before the victim died, he had visited Silloam Hospital to check his health. He arrived in Manado on Monday (13/11/2017), and headed to Bunaken Island and stayed at Bastianos Resort.

The victim intends to do diving activities. But because of his bad condition, the victim had not time to dive, until finally died.
