Heavy Rain and Strong Wind Had Enough to Uproot Trees in Several Points of Manado City

MANADO, ZONAUTARA.com – The extreme weather had happen in Manado City last night, at around 07:30 pm, on Monday (22/1/2018). Due to heavy rain and strong winds make uprooted trees at some point in Manado City.

Zona Utara Journalist did monitor in some area in Manado City, there was several point be stuck because of trees uprooted. They are in Taas Village, Tikala District, Komo Luar Village, precisely in front of SMP Negeri 1 Manado and in Tuminting Village.

Iwan Lasut as a head of Taas Village especially in hamlet 1 said, the fallen trees makes congestion.

The accident of uproot trees had been quickly response from RAPI Rescue Manado led by Ai Mangindaan. After receiving info from members who are monitoring in area of the fallen tree, RAPI Rescue went to the location and clears the tree that had blocking the access of road.

Cleaning up the fallen tree did by RAPI Rescue Manado City with Regional Disaster Management Agency of Manado City, Tim Brahma for lighting, police and the communities.
