Siaunese Cannot Visit This Place

MANADO, ZONAUTARA.com – Panorama of Bukide Island in Nusa Tabukan District offers a beauty view. The white sand, clear sea, and also the coral reef complete the beautiful of beach. Especially if you want to enjoy the nature you have to climb Bukide Batu (Stone Bukide) hills. From its peak, there is a blue sea and lined of islands.

In Bukide Batu there are many stories from Nusa Tabukan Island community. One of them is about the taboo of Siau people who cannot come to Bukide Batu hills.

Sanggel Maletu (76), the elder of Bukide village, said that in ancient times, in Bukide Batu there was a girl who was kidnapped by a King from Siau.

“At the top of Bukide Batu, there is four holes mark which is the former pillar of Sangiang Ngilihide’s house. Sangiang Ngilihide was kidnapped by a King of Siau. He is king Posumah,” he said.

Because of the tragedy the Siau people are forbidden to climb to that place because there is wretched. The mysteriousl thing is really happened.

“A lot of strange things were happen. There is a blood vomiting and the descend of Siau died because of visiting the place, they died by come out fleas from their body,” he said.

Force Musaling, a resident in Kampung Bukide, also told a strange thing occurred in early 2000. There was a student who died because of climbing Bukide Batu.

“Around the year 2000, there were students who died and her hair full of lice,” said Musaling.

Believe or not, this mysterious tragedy is still happen until this day and still trusted by people in Nusa Tabukan Village.
