ZONAUTARA.com – North Sulawesi has so many tourist attractions such as mountain, sea, lake, and cave, and also waterfall. One of tourist attraction in North Sulawesi is Tunan waterfall that located in Talawaan village, Talawaan district, North Minahasa region. To go to Talawaan village need about 45 minutes from downtown of Manado city. Arrived at Talawaan you will see the road sign to waterfall written 5 km from the village. View of forest and hills as long as you see in the way to Tunan waterfall.
Tunan waterfall has been managed by North Minahasa Government, so the visitors have to pay an entrance fee Rp. 10.000/pax, but have not a ticket receipt I got, so pity. It is about 20 minutes form entrance area to reach the waterfall.
Tunan waterfall has height about 80 meters feels the water splash carried by wind. The view around waterfall seems natural and perfect to spend the weekend.
According to people in this village, each day has 20 to 50 visitors were come in Tunan waterfall both domestic people and also foreign tourist.
