Bondan getting famous after bringing a culinary show at the TV stations. He traveled around the archipelago to be able to convey the taste that inherited by the ancestors of Indonesian culinary.

In addition to journalism books, Bondan also wrote several culinary books. Such as 100 Makanan Tradisional Indonesia Maknyus, 100 Maknyus Bali, 100 Makanan Tradisional Indonesia Maknyus, and Jalansutra: Kumpulan kolom tentang Jalan-jalan dan Makan-makan di Suara Pembaruan Minggu dan Kompas Cyber Media.
From the books are implied a love of Bondan to the culinary world, especially Indonesian cuisine.
“As a foodie who has tasted almost all the Indonesia traditional food. I also agree that the cuisine of Indonesia is included in the category of dangerously delicious,” Bondan writes in introduction to the book of  100 Makanan Tradisional Indonesia Maknyus.
In the book  of 100 Makanan Tradisional Indonesia Maknyus, published by Kompas Book Publishers in 2013, Bondan summarizes the 100 of delicious culinary in Indonesia.
“Choosing 100 selected foods to be summarized in this book is not easy. With tears in my eyes, some of my favorite culinary were forced to be marginalized from the list, “Bondan writes.
Bondan explains the 100 foods summarized in his book are special and popular foods. Not forgetting he apologized for the province that culinary has not been represented in the book 100 Makanan Tradisional Indonesia Maknyus.
“I hope that this book will be useful in improving our ‘tongue intelligence’,” Bondan wrote.
