MANADO, ZONAUTARA.com – Moraya fort is a historical tourist attraction, where had been war between the Minahasans against the colonial army of Beland in 1808-1809. This fort located in Tondano, Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province.
The 2018 Moraya Fortress Festival is planned to be held this week, on Friday (09/2/2018). Head of Culture and Tourism of Minahasa Regency Agustivo Tumundo said, festivals will be started with Carnival Bendi Hias (a traditional transportation horse as the main drawer). Furthermore, Performing Arts and Culture will be show the diversity of Minahasa potential.
“Carnival Bendi starts from the Castle of Moraya and would followed by the Regent, Vice Regent, Regional Secretary and Regional Leadership Communication Forum,” explained Agustivo.
The preparation of Carnival, they will be held technical meeting of the implementation of activities today. The meeting will be held at the Meeting Room of Minahasa Regent’s Office.
In addition, Tumundo said in the carnival will compete the Regent Trophy R, Trophy Vice Regent and  Sekdakab Trophy along with Cash of millions rupiah.
