MANADO, ZONAUTARA.com -Tomohon City has a new icon that located in downtown. Alfa Omega Tower Monument built since 2017 finally completed in February 2018 and inaugurated by Tomohon Mayor Jimmy Feidie Eman on Tuesday (20/2/2018).
From monitoring by Zona Utara journalist, on the side of the Alpha Tower Omega there is a garden that adds the beauty of the monument.
Sion Church is one of the icons in Tomohon City and formerly covered by other buildings, is now clearly visible.
Alfa Omega Tower is built on the land belonging to the Evangelical Christian Church in Minahasa (GMIM), which is a symbol of harmony and tolerance among the religious in Tomohon City.
“The purpose of Alfa Omega Tower development is also to make an icon of Tomohon City which describes Tomohon City as the Religious City,” said Jimmy
The construction of Alfa Omega Tower is also part of the Golden Dedication program of Tomohon Mayor Jimmy Feidie Eman and Vice Mayor Syerly Adelyn Sompotan to change the face of the city.
The budget reached Rp 9,981,000,000 from the Regional Budget (APBD) of Tomohon City in 2017.
Head of Tomohon City Public Works (PU) Joice Taroreh in her report before the inauguration and consecrate of Alfa Omega Tower explained that the monument was built to support the long-term vision of making Tomohon as a World Tourism City.
She explained that the building with an area of 625 meters and high 46 meters, with 500 meter of flower garden.
Joice added the construction of Alfa Omega Tower can be successful because of the assistance from the District Attorney of Tomohon City.
