MANADO, ZONAUTARA.com – Researchers from the European Union (EU) will synergize with several universities in North Sulawesi to develop an online-based program for communities in Sangihe Islands District.
Arwin Weinberger, a researcher from the RU met Jabes Regent Ezar Gaghana said, that the project is very good for the development in Sangihe.
“This project is very unique for updated development in raising local issues as a real contribution for Sangihe community. Another positive thing is also to build and develop science. Of course will compile a curriculum according to the character of society in Sangihe,” said Weinberger, Thursday (5/4/2018).
Weinberger expects the enthusiasm from communities, because this project is very beneficial.
“We expect participation from Sangihe community because there will be much important material and knowledge to be had to. This project is supported by good internet connection in Sangihe,” said Professor from Saarland University of Germany.
Meanwhile, Regent Jabes Ezar Gaghana said that he greatly appreciate it. According to him, the program strongly supports the existing potential in the District of Sangihe Islands.
“May it be a blessing for society welfare especially in the potential of tourism and fisheries in Sangihe,” said Gaghana.
