MANADO, ZONAUTARA.com – Bitung Mayor Max J Lomban, along with Vice Mayor Maurits Mantiri, received the visiting of Indonesia Ambassador to Serbia and Montenegro Harry Richard James Kandou with entourages at House of Representatives Office of Bitung City, Tuesday (10/4/2018).
On the occasion, Lomban presented the potentials of Bitung City particularly the fisheries and tourism sectors.
Lomban hopes Bitung City becomes one of cities in Indonesia which Kandou could promote to Serbia as well as Montenegro.
“We welcome the visiting of Mr Ambassador, in order to see directly about potential in Bitung City,” said Lomban.
Kandou comes in Bitung is instructions from President Joko Widodo that commissioned Ambassador to be able to sell and promote to abroad the potential that exists in the region.
During the visiting, Kandou and his entourage conducted a review to PT Delta Pasific Indotuna while accompanied by Regional Secretary of Bitung City.
The group witnessed process of tuna fish, which is one of the main commodities of Bitung City.
