MANADO, ZONAUTARA.com – Lion Air is an Indonesia aircraft of JT-610 route from Jakarta to Pangkal Pinang had reportedly lost contact around 06.33 am, on Monday (10/29/2018).
189 people on board is believed have sunk after crashing into the sea off near Jakarta, Java island.
Indonesia’s Search And Rescue (SAR) Agency Muhammad Syaugi confirmed that the crash of Lion Air JT610 had lost contact with ground officials 13 minutes after takeoff fom the capital.
“We don’t know yet whether there are any survivors,” Syaugi said.
The items such as handphones, life jackets, id card, and personal belongings were found in waters about 30 metres to 35 metres (98 to 115 ft) deep near where the plane, identified by air tracking service Flightradar 24 as a Boeing 737 MAX 8, lost contact.
Beside SAR, there are people including police officers, fishermen, and soldiers are involved in the search.
Families and friends of those on board are prayed and hugged while waited for their beloved news at Pangkal Pinang’s airport.
